Allow us to draw your attention to one of the biggest USP event that the eight episode series based on the book journalist Sandeep Unnithan Black Tornado: Three siege of Mumbai 26/11. This means that research and development has been top notch event. It also means that the series will reveal many unknown facts about the worst terrorist attack in the country to date.
To avoid bias and to avoid giving the series overtly nationalist stance, the series has been directed by the American director Matthew Leutwyler. Is that attacks on Jews at Nariman House or media involvement in aiding terrorists unwittingly or even terrorist camps and their breeding ground in foreign countries, these aspects have seen mature and handled sensitively in the series.
Not only that, the shooting schedule of this series also has a Lieutenant Colonel Sundeep Sen who was part of Operation Black Tornado (2nd in Command at NSG) and who was instrumental in creating many challenges and obstacles faced by the NSG commandos during 26 / 11. In fact, state of Siege: 26/11 is the first series that looks at the 26/11 attacks from the perspective of NSG commandos and how they managed to neutralize terrorists and their plans. Most movies and other 26/11 series has largely been focused on the attack at the Taj Mahal Hotel.
Keeping the realism of life, the team also managed to shoot safely at a remote base defense to shoot in aircraft IL-76, the same plane that brought the NSG commandos from Haryana to Mumbai during the 26/11 attacks that fact. You can catch a glimpse of IL-76, which the team had to secure special permission, in the trailer as well.
Cinematography of the series is also worth mentioning as a player shot the whole series using only natural light. The visual impact is not clear enough to use artificial light in a pulsating series trailer itself.
