One of the finest Bollywood actresses, Vidya Balan makes her debut as a producer with a short film titled ‘Natkhat’. It’s also her first short film as a lead actress.

In Natkhat, she played the role of Surekha.
Talking about it, Vidya said, “The reason for making this film is because it needs time. It talks about the importance of gender equality in the early years of children. So that they can be protected from such thoughts, which are sitting deep inside the society and where harmful masculinity is celebrated.”
Natkhat short film is directed by Shaan Vyas and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Vidya Balan. The actress did not announce the release date of the short film.
