Plot
As per official synopsis, “State Of Siege: 26/11 is a ZEE5 Original crime thriller series starring Arjan Bajwa, Arjun Bijlani, Mukul Dev, Vivek Dahiya and Tara Alisha Berry. When Mumbai was under siege, it was the NSG commandos that came to its rescue. Witness the untold stories of the brave heroes and the lesser-known facts of the horrid Mumbai attack that shook the whole world.”
26/11 Mumbai terror attack is the most horrifying happen in Indian that shock the whole world. It’s a real story, and the series’ narrative has shown from the NSG commando’s point of view. The series based on Sandeep Unnithan’s book – Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11.
The series showcase how tarriest attacked in Mumbai’s several areas and killed many people and many Police. But while the terror attack, when Mumbai was under siege, that time NSG Commandos came to rescue and they geared up to fight the horrible terror attack.
It also shows how Commandos faces many challenges and how they made use of the best available resources during the fight with the terrorists.

Review
Screenplay
The creator neither over-dramatized the terrorist attacks to instil patriotism nor termed it imaginary. The story also raises many eye-opening questions. Makers have tried to keep mistakes from work, and they have also succeeded in them.
The actual events are in our minds, and we know many details through the episode. From the NSG point of view, the presence is what sets it apart from the rest.
The start of the show is a bit slow, but it gets better with each episode. The narrative also has a mixed media angle. This could have been handled better in the beginning.
Performance
The series includes several actors who have equally important roles, but Arjan Bajwa is the main lead. He is brilliant in the role of Colonel Kunal Sahota.
Arjun Bijlani as Mani is brilliant. He has less screen time, but he is successful in leaving his influence. Shoaib Kabir as Ajmal Kasab is brilliant. Sid Makkar seems overacted. Tara Alisha Berry and Mukul Dev look elsewhere but could not leave any personal impact.
Direction
You can also praise Mathew Leutwyler, the director of this series and he deserves it too. He portrays the entire story well without any flirting.
Richard Henkels’ cinematography is a significant asset. It’s amazing. The background score is excellent, holding a recurring bit that signifies patriotism.
Should You watch it or not?
Definitely. This is the best and inspiring story shown on the 26/11 attack. This series will give you the feel of Uri- The Surgical Strike due to the fantastic camera work and great music.
Release Date
One month ago, the series announced, and that time ZEE5 announced that this series released on 26 January 2020. But on 26 December 2019, after releasing the official trailer of the series, ZEE5 announced that now State of Siege 26/11 web series released on 24 January 2020.
But for some issue, the series not released on date. on 26 February, ZEE5 released the new trailer and announced that the series set to premiere on 20 March 2020.
