MX Player’s Pawan & Pooja series had been announced today. The web series has finally got a release date, and it’s Valentine’s Day 2020. MX Player Pawan & Pooja series will premiere on MX Player on 14th February.
The story revolves around the lives of three couples– all coincidently named Pawan and Pooja, who, at various steps of their lives, realize that their love is conditional, breakable, and mysterious.
Each story is highly relatable and moved from real life.
The cast of Pawan and Pooja are Mahesh Manjrekar – Deepti Naval, Sharman Joshi – Gul Panag, and Taaruk Raina – Natasha Bharadwaj as the three couples Pawan and Pooja.
Bollywood director Shaad Ali, known for Saathiya and OK Jaanu is the director of Pawan & Pooja along with Ajay Bhuyan, who known for Dhada and Pink Mafia, and web series such as Little Things S1, Aisha, Mind the Malhotras, and many more. Siddharth P Malhotra is the producer of the show.
Siddharth P Malhotra, Director, writer, executive producer, and a screenplay and dialogue writer, said, “The show is about love and relationships and what they mean to three different generations. All three stories have been drawn from real-life experiences of people and questions the concept of love, and it says that love not idealistic; let’s be realistic. Life is not black and white anymore, and it’s grey. The show basically deals with the grey shades of life.”
Shaad Ali said, “The stories and the situations are so real, the stories could be anybodys. It’s a story about couples and love, but it will show you a very different aspect of it. Every single character is superbly sketched out, and each of the actors has just taken it to another level, it’s their show, really.”
