Taj Mahal 1989, a web series exploring with the topics of love, kindness, politics, and breakup, is set to be released on February 14, Netflix announced on Tuesday.
As per the official synopsis, “Tracing the lives of a Lucknow University professor couple, their students, a long-lost friend, his lover, and a schoolgirl in love with an older boy, this series is a tribute to love in all its unadulterated forms.”

The series set in Lucknow city, and it will contain the old-world beauty of love and the problematic nature of relationships in small-town India.
The series features Neeraj Kabi (Sacred Games) and Geetanjali Kulkarni in the lead role.
Netflix Taj Mahal 1989 series also features Danish Hussain, Sheeba Chaddha, Anshul Chauhan, Anud Singh Dhaka, Paras Priyadarshan, Mihir Ahuja, Shiri Sewani and Vasundhara Singh Rajput.
It’s produced by Tipping Point, the digital production arm of Indian media giant Viacom18 Studios, who also released Jamtara – Sabka Number Aayega.
